Whimsie Doodle Gnome

Happy Thursday! One day closer to a long weekend here in the US... I think I'm going through a gnome phase. It has been coming on for a while. I'm already in an owl phase, I don't know how many more phases I can take on at once, lol! Then I saw the movie, Gnomeo and I'm even more in love with the crazy things. If I had a garden, there would be gnomes everywhere!

I just can't quit making these book boxes... they are so cute and I think they are pretty simple to make. The most challenging part is joining the corners, but it's not too tough with the right glue (I use Beacon's 3 in 1). I forgot to add the ribbons to tie it shut this time, so I'm going to add a magnet closure before I use it.
