Hey everyone! Well, I'm really late with my post for DYSU as it was supposed to go up yesterday... so sorry about that! We have another nasty cold going around at my house and I am the latest victim.

The other DT members and guest designers have created some wonderful projects so be sure to stop over at the main blog to check them out.

This week I am using an awesomely detailed image from Hope Jacare. She has some beautiful things! I've colored it with ProMarkers. I freehanded the tree to look like the trees on the DP (which is A Walk In The Park by Echo Park). I've added gems from Pizzazz Aplenty and a sentiment from Raindrop Echo Designs.

For my card, I used an image from A Day for Daisies. I used scraps for my papers, ribbon and even the fabric for my flowers. The red really looks off in the photo, but it matches in real life.

For my card this week, I used an image from Claudia and Company from the Spring Scenes set. The base and embossed panel are kraft cardstock. The "red" paper you see as a mat to my image and embossed panel is actually white paper with the edge colored with my ProMarker to match the image and ribbon.

I actually have 2 cards for you this week. My first card uses products from Pizzazz Aplenty. They have loads of great embellishments at very reasonable prices. The cranberry twine, cranberry flatback pearls and charm are all from there.

The flower is handmade and I will hopefully be getting a tutorial up for it soon. I colored white fabric with my ProMarkers to get the colors I wanted.
