Mami Doodles Shopaholic

Hello all! Happy Tuesday! My card today features an image that I absolutely love that I won from Mami Doodles called Shopaholic. I also won my sentiment from Raindrop Echo Designs Gratitude Set and it is printed on vellum. I really went for a lot of texture this time. I love making flowers. I have tons of tutorials left to try out. My flowers are burnt edge flowers made with an old polyester shirt and gold tulle layered alternately. I also placed tulle behind my image and sentiment as matting. The jute is from really reasonable ribbon. It was a little wide for my purposes so I trimmed it to be narrower. My paper is from K & Co. My image is colored with ProMarkers.

For the Delicious Doodles challenge this time, they asked what inspires us. I think color is a big inspiration for me. Sometimes I look at an image and know exactly what colors it should be and then the card goes from there. Sometimes it is a paper I'd like to use or a specific embellishment. This time, I actually had a purpose for this card, so that was my inspiration.

I did not place a sentiment on the inside as this card is for my Mother-In-Law and I wanted to have some space for us to write. The flower on the inside has been cut with my Spellbinders Dahlia die and has burnt edge gold tulle layered between the papers. I did not use a sketch this time, which took me a little longer, but it was well worth it. I really enjoyed planning this out.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
