Sentimental Sundays Father's Day / Masculine Card Challenge

Happy Sunday! I've just returned from a trip and had some posts planned out, but didn't end up with time to post them! I'll be posting those later this week. Today there is a new challenge at Sentimental Sundays. We want to see your Father's Day or Masculine cards. Our Sponsor this week is Meljen's and they provided us with some adorable digis to use. My image is colored with ProMarkers and my papers are Basic Grey Pyrus. I've added a strip of burlap and distressed the edges with my edge scraper. The image is from Meljen's and the sentiment is from Raindrop Echo Design's Daddy's Heartbeat Sentiments.

I used three Meljen's Digis for the front and the sentiment on the inside is from Raindrop Echo Designs Get Well Set and is printed on vellum. The flowers on the front are from Creative Charms. The paper is from DCWV Green Stack.

The paper is from DCWV Green Stack. I used my Sew Easy for the hand stitching inside and out.

For this little card, I used 2 Meljen's digis. I created the background on my computer with a Meljen's flower and then colored the flowers with my ProMarkers. The sentiment is from Ginger's House. If you haven't visited her blog yet, please do. She has oodles of sentiments to share.

Papers: I made the background paper with a flower image from Meljen's. The rest is from my stash.
Colors: ProMarker Cerise, Baby Pink, Lavender, Purple, Meadow Green, Apple, Arctic Blue

Wanted to get this one up today as well. The stamp and sentiment are both from Meljen's. I seem to be stuck on the pink and brown color combo today.

Dottie from Bugaboo

I just recently purchased my first Letraset Promarkers. I've been practicing with them for about a week and decided it was time to put a card together. I also purchased a Big Shot and am using it for the first time as well. The stamp is Dottie from Bugaboo and the sentiment is a freebie from Meljen's. The brads in the top corner are green rhinestone brads.

The picture doesn't seem to show the colors as vividly as they are in real life. I'll have to research taking better pictures. I'll try to post a better photo later. If anyone has any suggestions, please share.
